How to make questions mandatory or optional

All fields and questions in your waiver can be mandatory or optional - aside from first and last name of participant and minors, these fields are always required.

To change this setting of any field, navigate to Forms Manager to edit your waiver by clicking either the name of the waiver, or click edit waiver and settings from the ••• menu.

Once inside the form builder, simply click on any module which opens its settings in a column on the right. From there you will see a ✅ to make required, or uncheck to make optional.

When required, the participant will see a small red asterisk* next to the label. If a required field is left blank, the waiver will not save until the field has been completed, and will highlight the field in red.
