How to setup your waiver kiosk on an iOS device
Setting up your waiver kiosk in all iOS devices is very simple.
This is done using Guided Access, a built-in iOS feature that locks your iPhone or iPad to a single app until you enter a passcode (or use Face ID/Touch ID) to exit.
1. Add your waiver to your device as an App
- Open Safari → paste and open the Kiosk Link of your waiver
- The Kiosk Link is found in the Share Tab of your waiver's settings.
- Tap the Share button (square with upward arrow) at the bottom.
- Scroll and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Toggle Open as Web App on for a full-screen, app-like experience, which hides the Safari toolbar & URL bar (Optional, iOS 18+).
2. Set It Up (one-time)
- Open Settings → Accessibility → Guided Access.
- Turn on Guided Access.
- Tap Passcode Settings:
- Set a 6-digit Guided Access passcode (required).
- Optionally enable Face ID or Touch ID for quicker exit.
3. Start a Guided Access Session
- Click the eWaiverPro icon to open your waiver in Safari.
- Click the top button (iPad) or triple-click the Side button (on most modern iPhones).
- Older devices with a Home button: triple-click the Home button.
- If the Accessibility Shortcuts menu appears, tap Guided Access.
- Tap Start (top right). The device is now locked to that app.
- Triple-click the Side/Top/Home button again.
- Enter your Guided Access passcode (or use Face ID/Touch ID).
- Tap End (top left).
