Does eWaiverPro have an app for iOS or Android?

Why we don’t offer a dedicated iOS or Android app (and why that’s great news for you)

We’re often asked why we don’t provide native apps for iOS and Android. It’s a fair question where “there’s an app for that” has become the default expectation. Our answer is simple: we believe a high-quality Progressive Web App (PWA) that you can install directly to your home screen delivers a better experience for both you and your customers - without the downsides of maintaining separate native apps.

Here’s why we made this choice:

1. One Codebase, Consistent Experience Everywhere
Building and maintaining separate native apps for iOS and Android means managing three parallel codebases (plus ongoing updates, bug fixes, and App Store approvals). That complexity often leads to features launching later on one platform than another, or small differences in how things work.

With our PWA approach, you get the same fast, reliable, and fully-featured experience whether you’re on a Windows PC (which more than 50% of our clients use), a Mac, an iPhone, an Android phone, or even a tablet. No version mismatches. No “it works better on iOS” complaints. Just one unified, polished product that evolves at the same pace for everyone.

2. Your Customers Don’t Need an App
Participants interact with the waivers you create by scanning a QR code, using a kiosk or clicking a Sign Waiver link, without ever needing to download an app. They don’t have to spend time searching app stores or cluttering their phones just to sign a waiver.

Our solution works instantly in any modern browser. No App Store friction. No extra downloads. Your customers simply scan a code or open a link, and everything works beautifully - whether they’re on mobile, a tablet or a desktop. That lower barrier creates a smoother, faster experience for the people who matter most: your customers.

3. Faster Innovation, Lower Costs, Better Value
Every hour we’d spend maintaining separate native apps is an hour we’re not spending on core features, performance improvements, security, or new capabilities that benefit all our users at once. By focusing on a single, modern web-based platform, we can deliver updates more quickly, fix issues faster, and keep costs down - savings we pass on through competitive pricing and continuous improvement.

4. Modern Web Technology Has Caught Up (and then some)
Today’s Progressive Web Apps are no longer a compromise. Our PWA offers:
  • Offline support (coming soon)
  • Push notifications (when enabled)
  • Home-screen installation with a native-like feel
  • Smooth animations and responsive design that adapt perfectly to any screen size
  • Access to device features like camera, GPS, and more — all without needing App Store approval
In many ways, it actually provides more flexibility than a locked-down native app.

The Bottom Line
We could have built native apps. Many companies do. But after careful consideration of how our clients actually use our software (especially the large number of Windows users) and how customers actually complete their waivers, we concluded that a best-in-class PWA is the smarter, more customer-centric choice.

It keeps things simple, consistent, and future-proof while giving you and your users the freedom to work from anywhere, on any device, without unnecessary downloads or platform limitations.
We’re excited about the PWA we’re building, and we’re confident you’ll feel the difference: a faster, more reliable, and truly cross-platform solution that puts your needs - and your customers’ needs - first.

The full PWA experience is coming soon, and the best part is you won’t have to change a thing.
