Data Responsibility
The data you collect through your waivers, and how you use it, is entirely your responsibility to manage and control.
Marketing Opt-In for Compliance
To help you comply with anti-spam regulations (such as CAN-SPAM), eWaiverPro includes a built-in option to request marketing consent from participants when they complete their waiver.
To enable this feature:
- Edit your waiver.
- Scroll to the Consent and Submit section at the bottom.
- Check the box for Marketing opt-in.
- Choose the default state (we recommend having the option checked by default, as this significantly helps grow your marketing list).
When enabled, participant data is still collected as usual. An additional column called "Opt-in Status" will appear in your data export, showing true or false based on the participant’s selection. When importing or syncing your data with your marketing software (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact, etc.), simply map this “Opt-in Status” field so that your subscribers’ marketing consent is accurately reflected.
